Hardware Failure - Friday, December 02, 2011
This morning the RAID controller for Hyper-V server 1 started to fail. A second failure accrued at 11:50am. At this time we are transferring both web and email services to Hyper-V server 2. This with take about an hour to move 200Gb of data. Services will be back on line by 1:30pm today.

Update 6:30pm
After transferring the virtual server to the new host OS, the old virtual NIC was interfering with the new one because of the IP address. We have removed the old "off line NIC' from the virtual server and the server appears to be running fine.

Total down time was 145 minutes.
